When I saw this pic it reminded of something I shared last week on Twitter as well as the text found in James 1:19. It brings into perspective the importance of learning to be slow to speak and yet quick to listen.

Truthfully, this is an area of discipline for me. Call it my personality, the way I was raised, society, culture, whatever…we can all be prone to give our opinion before a person can even finish their sentence.

If your a leader this can be even more difficult, because by position or title, what you have to say is always important and needed, right? My challenge for you today is the challenge I set before myself each day when working, collaborating, and dreaming with the incredible team around me…SLOW DOWN AND LISTEN!!
